    MasterMech...I gotta tell ya, I LOVE the sound of those gear drives. I had a '68 GTO and always wanted to install one but never pulled the trigger.... :(

    I have a love/hate relationship with this one, too much extra noise at idle, in addition to the gear whine, you can hear it whacking the timing cover on my big-block and there's penty of gear "crunch". I have both a cast aluminum timing cover and a double roller chain drive for it on the shelf. I'll make the decision which way I go when I get the cover off again. (no time right now, and I need the truck up and running.)

    But I LOVE how it sounds otherwise. :thumbs: I had one in a 5.0 HO Mustang ('87) that was much better behaved.
