I was thinking that if he has any interest, having you wrap the saw up, if I win (Longshot I know), and presenting it to him with the check to the family.

Unless they don't want him to have it or think the money it would sell for would serve them better?

Nice idea but I would be concerned he could hurt himself.. Thinking the money would be far safer..

Yea I thought that. bUT at his age it would have to be a parental supervised type thing. like cuttingbwith dad etc. or with buddy "uncle pete". I forget how old he is. I was was thinking 14 bit now I'm thinking 12....Yea a bit young.

Just a thought. And I did intended to get parental approval and have them over see him and teach him, not just turn him loose with it like a BB gun. haha

I'd guess 11 or 12.. I wouldn't allow my kids near a chainsaw at that age.. That's just me though..

Yea that's too young to me. when I first wrote it for some reason I was thinking he was like 14/5 which is on the edge of age to me. but thinking back I dont think he's that old. I think Rayonz is right 11 is too young so is 12.

Nevermind Pete I think reconsidering 12ish is too young.

He is the nephew of my neighbor and coworker who really doesn't like handling saws. I think the money would be best. Treatments are very expensive and finances add to the point you have no breathing room with chemo...

I do like the thought Clem!!
