Does Stihl still make a carbureted version of their MS362?

Almost NONE ALL of Stihl's past .325" bars were .063" gauge. This should be a fine mess on the retail end. :picard:

What's the deal with the new raker shape?

As always, thanks for all the replies, I really appreciate it!

    So, I started the new chainsaw search wanting a 60cc saw w/20" b&c, (555, 562XP, MS362, MS362C) to go between my NE 346XP w/16 & 18" b&c and my 365X-Torq w/20 & 24" b&c. I wasn't thinking about the MS400C at all, until realizing their weight and price were that close to the MS362.

I like the feel of both the 362 and 400 w/20" b&c. My son likes both w/25" b&c. his opinion matters because he's probably going to use it more than me, just like with our 365XT. So that's where the 22" b&c comes in. If we get a 362 we'll probably go w/20" b&c. If we get the 400, which is more likely to happen, we'll go w/22" b&c.

22" was an old school Stihl size. Emphasis on OLD. Interesting that it's back.

Every stihl sold in .325 here for 40 years has been .063 ga. I’ve never seen a stihl branded .325 bar in .050 other than the new Light 04 bars.

Not certain on the new raker shape. The chain hauls azz though

Good to hear it’s fast, obviously it’s not square but fast round is good too. Might make some fast hand sharpened square too

In the catalog pic that I posted, it shows the 22" bar in .063" only. I'll definitely ask my dealer next time I stop in though. If the 22" bar isn't available when we got our saw, I'll get it with a 20" b&c when we buy it. Then shortly after, I'll get a 25" b&c for my son to use. As with our, 365XT, he'll use it a lot more than me.

Geez, I must have been on something good.

I meant to say all of Stihl's .325" bars were .063". Which will be a fine mess when Harry Homeowner slaps a new .325" .050" chain on it and wonders why it cuts zig zags, or stops cutting about a 1/2" in.
