    Shiitakes growing FINALLY! As I had posted a long while (two and a half years ago) back I was trying to grow some shiitake mushrooms on some elm logs. Marketed as growing in 6 months to 1 year. Well they are now beginning to grow. Fortunately I did not give into the urge to turn the logs into fire ring wood! Pretty excited now to see how far they go.
