Do we need an addiction thread where we can sign in on a particular night similar to AA?
I realized that I may have an addiction when I had major surgery this year. I would look out the window at my log stacks and it bugged me seeing them sitting there. I didn't need the wood at the time, but it still bugged me.
    I am a Woodaholic.

Spent some time splitting some rounds that have been waiting for a bit. Not real worried about them as you see...either way stuff is getting done this summer. Been fantastic weather lately so everything is uncovered and drying out. Restacking my winter wood for the 5th time but got it up on proper cinderblocks and post beams. Gotta shake it up since it wasn't stacked as wisely but checking the moisture content of a random birch split got last summer annnnnndddd...16.4 and slowly fell. One more dry out. Im more than pleased.

Sniffing wood? Careful who sees you doing that - might get a visit from the authorities.

That's the wood bay from which I pulled out some rounds need to just let those dry up a bit. Those are all plum rounds by the way. I was splitting from that bay earlier you can see the stuff by the splitter. I noticed that the area back there doesn't get the necessary exposure as the eastern stacks.(last few photos) So Im needing some removal for better air circulation. Very wet when the rains come. image.jpg
This is where my woodshed will likely be built... got my work cut out for me but I do enjoy it. Been nice to take my time a bit with this. Knowing the stacks will be refilled for years. image.jpg
