Screwloose I was the same way when I saw it, just couldn’t get my mind off it. I like old iron equipment. So much simpler to work on compared to new stuff. The hydraulic cylinders alone are worth what I have in it. JWinIndiana I’d love to see pictures of the trencher when you get time. T.Jeff Veal yes it was a blessing and miracle all at one time. She will get checkups locally 3-4 times per year and likely an annual trip to St Jude’s until she is 18 but we have said many times God has something big in store for her. Anesthesiologists and Surgeons all prepared us she might not make it out of surgery. Even the St Jude team could not perform her surgery, they transferred us to Le Bonheur pediatric hospital for cardiothoracic anesthesiologists and surgeons to assist in the surgery. The chief of Le Bonheurs pediatric cardiac transplants lead the surgery with a staff (that I’m aware of) of 5 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 surgical oncologist from St Jude’s plus an untold number of cardiologist, pulmonologist, anesthesiologists, besides the surgical residents and fellows. A nurse mentioned she had never seen that many doctors involved in a surgery before. As bad as surgery sounds in the end it went perfectly, no complications, start to finish only about 90 minutes. Even now thinking about the care we were shown while we there is overwhelming to me! I start crying just thinking about how good those folks were to us! To my dying day I’ll tell everyone who will listen. Everything good you have ever heard about St Jude’s it’s 10 times better than that!!! And I love Le Bonheur as much and maybe more!
She is doing wonderful! I get tears in my eyes a year later just thinking about how blessed we are to still have her!
Glad as always to hear about her recovery !! And still drooling over the ditch witch, I love that thing! How's the business venture coming along ?
Business is going good, first office is almost completely staffed. Still working 50-60 hours most weeks there, final few weeks in preparation for the new office. Planning on opening in 4-6 weeks depending on occupancy permits and staffing. Yard looks amazing considering I took 65 trees out in April!
All right, if none of these other slackers is gonna bite on this thing, I will if it's still available? Keith, you wanna meet me somewhere & ride to Missouri?
Still have it setting by my barn, haven’t had a chance to do anything with it. I have ~$850 in it, if anyone wants it for that price I’ll sell it otherwise I’ll keep it and continue to hope I can tinker with it someday!
