How many gallons of mix did you use Brad? I sure don't seek out the gnarly ones but never shy from the monsters. I'll have to read the criteria for membership.
Actually had blisters under my callouses on my left hand. The other guy he has bucking is a hack. Plus the silver maple had very little in the way of straight logs. He appreciates the fact I sell wood and a quality product at that as I've shown him pictures so I know what it takes to get a decent split. He normally doesn't take gnarly wood and wasn't happy about it. How often do you get stuck with an entire gnarly tree Joe? "Hi, my name is Brad and i hate bucking large gnarly logs"
LOL!!! Pretty much. Stops for sharpening, fueling, quick lunch and drink breaks. I knew it was close to quitting time and he was pulling logs from different spots. Worst part was the logs were being staged right on the ground and it wasn't easy on this old back. He wanted to get as much cut while I was there. I saw the way the other guy cuts and don't blame him.
With what I had and his over two gallons. Im with you on that. I couldn't keep the chains sharp to my liking!
