Dad got out of the hospital today finally. We are trying to get him settled in at my house.

 

God Bless you guys on your loss. Thankful that you & your dad still have each other to get through this together.

Good news Randy, we are pulling for you.

Today has been fun. Dad was scheduled for skin grafts today. Supposed to be here at 7:45 and surgery at 9:45. Got here 7:30 he finally went into surgery at 11:45. 2 to 3 hour procedure. This is going to be a long day.

 

Hope it isn't too painful for him. Will they send him home? This is kind of gross, but I guess sometimes they use fish skin.

 

I can’t imagine all the burden this has brought to you and your family. I pray for your dad a smooth and speedy recovery. And that you find the strength to get through this the best way possible. The hall family sends our prayers your way buddy.

 

Not sure on snake skin. I think its donated skin for now. And once regrowth process has started he will have to get his own skin scraped and attached to the worst of the burn spots. Sitting in recovery right now. Waiting to go home once he is released.

 

Hope your dad's surgery goes well.

 

So far so good just got him home. Have to go back in a week and see how they are healing. He is worn out and taking a nap.
