I have a theory: It was a squirrel that broke your wooshed's back.

Now you know why people that live in "snow belts" like Yoopers get up on their rooves with a shovel.

That had to be a wet heavy snow. Maybe you also got some of that ice?

Up here at 3500 feet we get two or three good winter storms a year, each usually deposits about a foot of snow.
However, within a few days the temperatures return to the low 40s and when combined with the fairly strong sun we get here, it usually melts in a few days.

Storms like these are a good excuse to stay home and work on indoor projects.
This is nothing compared to North West Connecticut, Northern Vermont and Idaho where I have lived in the past.

We got about 10" of fluffy snow, followed by some sleet. But on Wednesday night through Thursday we are expecting rain. That's when the real damage will most likely happen.

Actually Saphire NC is the home of the White Squirrel. Tourists come from all over to see them.
One of these days I'd like to open a theme park called "The Saphire Squirrel Safari".

We have a lot of houses with shallow pitched roofs and they can have problems. We will see.

These 'sheds' are all sort of bushcraft anyway.
When they break, it's just another excuse to go into the forest for a while and find the perfect beam, and yeah, this one was an old dead tree I took down, so I'm not surprised it wasn't very strong.

What I need is a small... sawmill... yeah, that's the ticket...
    And a tractor... yeah...
And I'll build a huge barn... yeah, that's the ticket...
