I too suffer from holeinthestackitese. Back in July I filled the shed with 2+ cords.

Just the other day I got the urge to slide my basement hoard down the shoot. According to the calculator here it comes up to almost a full cord between the 2 bunks.

It has been so warm here and things just didnt work in my favor so I only have about a cord to split come spring but I still have 6 years worth ready to go.

Thanks! Thats the one I'm waiting to play with. Now you know my angst to get going with this burning thing! Got to cure the itch with a little chainsaw induced fun. Snagged 2- 8 ft box fulls of some killer red elm off a facebook ad. Bonus was one full load was already cut up when I got there!

I will admit that I had some misgivings when I removed the first splits from my stacks for this burning season. I don't think I'm depressed about it, but I certainly want to fill in the hole.

I was stuck inside all day on some remodeling crap. Very depressed as I had some serious woodcutting plans. :picard:

X2 had to put new doors in today as not too windy and not rainy... I an DONE with sliding glass doors... the drains fill with water and freeze crack then leak water comes into my house:hair: I have read every warranty regardless of price.. no coverage unless room is built around them... so I took 6 foot hole and put in 2 exterior doors with post in middle... looked at french doors the only ones that seal well in middle because of my 40 mph... winds off lake..... open out... well that's great except is to a deck 35 feet in air and ya need to shovel snow off it!
the point of this rant is I wanted to cut wood... split wood stack wood... I got acres of room for wood... I finally got three years ahead and I want NEED to be five years ahead...

    OK feel better now:faint:

Just think about how far you've came in the last 2-3 years and you'll feel even better. You've done a fine job not only for yourself and family but for others too.

This was my last weekend before hunting season, so next weekend i am going to have to fight myself between the tree stand and the wood. First deer that walks out with a decent sized body is going down, regardless of horns. Hunted for horns all last year and got notta and sat when i should have been cutting!!!!
