Deer Season

And finally...…...how many are guility of this?????

 

How many sitting in a blind or stand finding blow down and thinks. I’m getting you in February?

 

I can shoot 9 here. 1 antlered and 8 antlerless. Unless you get an nuisance permit, then you can put a few extra on the ground.

 

I had 3 bucks cruise by yesterday. A hot doe walked through, followed by a 4 point spike, followed by a monster, followed by a nice 8. The monster was on a mission and wouldn't stop so I had to settled for the nice 8.

 

Guess I’ll jump in here. Been bow hunting for 5 weeks now. Gun is due up the 1st week of December. No luck on any good bucks yet. Here is a picture of a nice Ohio buck my friend killed Monday.

For sure. I preach to those boys that you can’t kill great deer if we kill good deer!!

 

I just got home from deer camp today. One of my buddies got this buck. I took a doe yesterday morning...was waiting for a big buck, but decided to fill the freezer since I am out of hunting time for the season. Was glad to get an opportunity to harvest a nice eating deer on the last day. Had a solid 5 full days in the woods, great food and drink, and lots of new and old deer stories around the wood stove at our off grid camp in the evenings. One of best times of the year!
