It will be a semi-sneek left, mount.

Casper If he hasn't picked out a form yet, check out the Matt Thompson 3700. It's one of my favorite semi-sneak mounts.

Nice buck! I haven't been out much but haven't seen any movement. Temps are dropping this week!

I'm not a fan of the 6.5 creedmoor for anything bigger than whitetail, but they do shoot nicely due to low recoil. The 6.5 CM is certainly a much better deer gun than the 6.5 Grendel.

How many yards was that a target practice at? What sort of distance do you have shots at?

100yds. That's about the farthest I can shoot a deer on my property. FYI, I have a 280 Ackley Improved for bigger game and/or longer distances. It shoots as good or better, but then again, it cost about 3X what my Tikka T3x 6.5 CM cost, so it better be accurate. Target below is 100 yds off sandbags, 4 bullets).

Heck yeah. 280 AI is one of my favorites.

I REALLY like my 280 AI. Would love to get it out West where it could stretch it's legs at distance and with bigger game than whitetails.

280 AI is a great round, but I'm a 7mm rem mag guy. Mine has done nothing but been a super flat shooting, big game getter. I really like the variety of ammo that the 7mm rem mag offers.
