    I liked my Skytech, but just took it out of service and replaced it with the Lux you recommended. The main problem I had with the Skytech, was one or twice a year when the stat called for heat, the receiver never got the signal to call for heat and we woke up with a cold house (probably my fault because it was at max recommended distance).

    Love this Lux!! A little pricey, but full of options and has a higher swing (4.5°) than my Hunter (3°). The Hunter is still a great unit. But I like a big swing for the pellet furnace when I run On/Off (Fuel Mizer mode). The Enerzone is perfect for thr Hunter because it's upstairs and pretty far from the stat.. Both are touch screen and have 4 programs per day.

    Don't think savemoney has a stat for the stove? I think he was referring to the stat that comes in the Harmans? Unless he hooked a stat up to it?

    19 bags for December - 38 last December. i'll have to try one of those remote stats, although i have no complaints with the stock sensor as i have it positioned to recieve sunlight during the day.

    Same here, but I will say that I havnt burned more than 20-25 bags total.

    But I think that will change starting Monday....................at least for a few days

    i'm not sure about december, but in the last few days we crossed over the one bag a day a line.
    starting burning sept. 15th(ish) and am going to burn bag 125 sometime tomorrow.

    i like it toasty, and i have even been catering to our 17 year old cat. if he's cozy and by the stove, i will let it run longer than i might otherwise.
    i'm all about making everyday of his life as comfy as i can.
    hopefully he'll be around next year for me to waste more pellets on. <3
