I just received some of these chains from MasterMech and I must say they are the bee's knees!!! I've never sharpened anything this small, but off the loop it's a mean little chain!
I haven't found anything yet. I had a flash of inspiration the other day when I remembered that the 45 cc Earthquakes had a 3/8 low-pro chain and a rim drive. I was disappointed to find that they just use a standard 3/8" rim which is why the chain feels a bit "notchy" when properly tensioned.
I saw your add in the classifieds. I need to convert the 024 to rim drive yet. This chain will work on my MS170 that has a .050 bar on it won't it?
Well, with a recent equipment upgrade, I am now able to cut and spin chain "in-house". Many thanks to those of you who were patient with me in the past. Thank You All!
I'm sure some of your chainsaw buddies are too, trick is to get y'all orderin' at about the same time.
I'm expecting a 16" picco bar for my 026 any day. I have no idea what DL count is on those. Prolly be in touch soon Brian. Those 3814 earthquakes become pretty impressive with a sharp ps chain.
It would do alright if you were already running .050" chain on it. Most of those were running the .043" PMM series chain tho.
