    Mrs Sav doesn't have any apples this year. Well, I think there may be 6 or 8 out there on one of the trees but I haven't even looked to see if they are any good yet. My cousin is having a cider making party in 2 weeks so he must have some.

    The sky is always blue here Backwoods Savage , it's only dark at Gasifier 's house.

    I should try this. I observe it in the stove but never thought this might be a good form of fire starter. Living in the land of pine I would have thought that Id be sharing wisdom with folks here about fatwood but I poke around in old stumps and find nothing but earth and bugs.
