One thing I have learned as I get older is that a 5 minute job always takes an hour. Good job and glad you are safe my friend
And an hour job takes all day! When a job goes WAAAY better (or quicker) than expected, it always makes me hesitate and think, ok, what did I miss/screw up here...
When i'm getting ready to do something I always figure how long I think it will take and double it. In recent years I've been doing that plus adding half an hour. Usually that is still not enough.
Tomorrow I’m going to replace the ignition coil on my splitter. That will take a couple 4 hours to find out that’s not the issue, then say f it and pack the truck.
