This should be my last cutting day. Except making the road trip to her pop’s I think Im done scrounging too. I have lots of wood, 90% is red oak. Then about 7% beech and 3% cherry. I went back to the farm and got the rest of the oak plus some beech in a different section of the woods. Time to service the splitter and get to town splitting and stacking!
This is the red oak i had left over from last year. I got to a point where i was done with it lol, so I just stacked the rounds. Its about 6’ tall and 3 rows deep... it’ll end up being a cord or just shy as well.
Nice thing about having it hauled home is you can work on it whenever you have some time. I am wondering what brand and size trailer you have. Looks like it hauls a good load. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
