About the same age, 1- 1-1/2 years old each. Val gets to spend Mon.-Wed with him, a name will emerge by then. If not, it will be a coin toss-
Borg or Leeroy Jenkins. He lose's either way.

Beautiful dog! How about Tyson, like Mike Tyson

Looks like a Duke, a Rex or a Buster too.

I figured I would name my next dog Schöner. That way I could use the German greeting “Hallo Schöner” (hello beautiful). It’s gender neutral, so for a boy the translation might be more like handsome.
    Pronounced show-nair

Sometimes a day or two is all it takes to pick the perfect name based on their personality or traits.

Our fuzzy buddy was going to be named Zeus, but that changed within a day. He was always close to me, no matter what, and I remarked that the little guy was closer than my shadow. Boom, there was his name.

Do boxers drool a lot? Dribs, short for dribble face?

He shall be .... Earl. So, we'll have a "Duke, duke, duke, .. Duke and Earl"- credit to Gene Chandler.

Thank you all for the suggestions, This name fits the little knucklehead.

My 'lil sis said to go with Earl, as she sang the song to me. We both cracked up. I called Val and she hated the name, but she got a thumbs up from all of her co-workers. Then they started singing the song and she cracked up also. I told her after she spends time with him, she'll see it's a good fit.

The funny thing to me, I called him by every name suggested. "Borg" got an immediate response, but we just couldn't go there. So we resisted.
"Earl"- he actually pricked his ears up and looked at me with that one. He's been responding to his name, so some combo of Borg and Earl? might have been his name at some point? I dunno.
