    A colleague at work said he was having a red oak taken down at his house and asked if I wanted it vs. having the tree service dispose of it. I went over this morning to his place; lo and behold, it's 28" DBH and about 70-80- ft tall. :drool: My answers was "YES." Especially since he's paying for dropping it and we can buck and split it at his place! Sorry no picts, it was raining. Apparently, it's not coming down for a month or so. I'll get picts when it's down.

    That gives you time to make sure your chain is sharp and that you have a spare chain in case it's needed.

    You got that right! It takes while to sharpen a 105 dl chain for the 32" bar. :faint:
