    You can count me in the camp that thinks you shoulda had it looked at by a Dr. especially with the bruise growing after the fact.

    I've broken many of bones. motocross, mma, extreme sports, etc. I can guarantee you that if it was cracked you wouldn't even be able to think about walking on it.

    Even though it's getting better Dennis, give it a rest and go slow. Go fishing or something, the wood will still be there. We just want you to still be there with it.

    Been there, done that. Bruised both shins as splits would fall.

    I now wear shin pads whenever working with wood. Small money, in the sports section of stores.
