5/half ounces of water soaked up inside my HarmanP61A. One in the burn chamber and One in the Ashpan. Exhaust pipe and OAK we're covered tightly but moisture still finds a way in. Stove has windows on both sides so imagine when they are open in the summer the humidity comes in on days the AC is not running. very cheap especially if you keep the containers and just buy refill bags..I know some here who don't clean the stove in the spring as the ash is supposed to protect the metal walls ? but would rather do a full cleaning and put these in at end of season.
    Deffinitely a rust preventive 20191015_115007.jpg .

I don't clean in the spring, and use the damp rid..

Fall cleaning is like any other cleaning during the winter..

I just keep it running every day. It heats my hot water.

A PB105 pellet boiler. I don't think they make them anymore but some other manufacturers still make pellet boilers.

Put a damprid in the ash pan of each stove at the end of last season. Just took them both out, they each had about half an inch of water in the bottom of the container. Typical.
