    What a difference bark on and barkless DSRO makes. Last fall we cut and split a DSRO with the bark still on. This wood was css and top covered in a single row in September 2018. I just fresh split some of these pieces and the MM was reading between 20-25%.

    I cut some barkless DSRO about 3 weeks ago and I just split some this weekend. Average MM was about 15%.

    I have said before that we sometimes css and burn barkless DSRO within weeks and this year is no different. Thanks to Loon who picked me up a MM, I have numbers to show it's perfect for the stove.

    Good information. I dont cut standing dead that often, but ill hafta remember that.

    if bark still on any wood just make some cuts down the length that will help a lot
