Most of the new quality ceiling fans now come with a D. C. motor and are far more energy efficient than their A.C. counterparts. I was wondering if any of the stove makers have switched to D.C. blower motors. A stove could run for 24/7 for a week with a D.C. moter and use less electric than the equivalent A.C. motor uses in a day. I haven't fished around the stove factory sites in a while, I just figured it would be quicker to ask here!
