Nice load Snaf. How do you get the trailer up on the wood? It looks heavy.

Thanks Stinny yea about 2.4 cord load there
I just use the ramps and winch it from other side then turn sideways or just remove the box from frame and pull it up the ramps by hand but as with most things in life working on a better safer way to load it up

    Welcome !

    Nice set-up ! :)
You use a state cutting area too ?

    2-1/2 cord is 2 days (+ 1/2 ) of work for me !

    You got snow yet ?
Bro-in-law lives out side Fairbanks, west of downtown.
    Says they had some snow.

    Yep state cutting area

Yep got snow on September 30th

Last day of my wood cutting week
I had a few big trees down and bucked up from the nice sunny day before
Next day I wake up to 3 in of fresh snow on the ground and and at least a cord bucked up laying on the ground 100 yards downhill from the truck road just waiting to be hauled out
And I thought well better get it before some one else does (and that's when the seeds of madness were planted)
Getting traction was tricky had to get some weight up front to hold the front tires on the ground

Only got 1 cord that day lol
All most forgot the most important part of setup

    Nice pics.
Saw a ptarmigan & a few spruce hen in there yesterday, got a blurry pic of ptarmigan.

Good idea using the winch to add forward weight.
Snow shuts me down, the road/trail in has a few steep parts & some side hill that
pulling a loaded trailer would be extra difficult.
