    Dennis. I hope you feel better soon. I am late to this thread. I use to get strep throat regularly when I was young. Seemed like every other year I would get it. I don't know why. I had not had it in more than 20 years I guess. But I had strep throat this past August and it was the worst I had ever had it. Be careful. I have read that it can turn into much worse and lead to debilitating conditions if the infection is allowed to get to far. Did you get tested for strep? How are you feeling now?

    Did get tested for strep as I've had that many times. Feeling somewhat better but may go back to doctor tomorrow.

    So your test was negative? Or positive and he gave you anti-biotics?

    I too unfortunately am a frequent flier with strep throat. I have had rapid tests negative but the cultures that take long can be positive regardless of the rapid test.

    Negative. But still have antibiotics; just a different kind.
