Joe, we've been cutting dead ash for 12 years now. Still plenty to get out and now it is getting to the point where they are rotting at the root. Also some of the tops breaking off when we get a big wind.
I like Ash as well, see more dead ones around here now than live ones. Cant imagine PA will have many left in 20 years.
Spent time hunting this weekend. Didn't get as much cut as I wanted, but I really need a deer or three... Beef is getting to costly! Stacks are good and I'm going to keep plugging away. Had to split a bunch yesterday to make some room.
