My Rem. 341-P Sportmaster is as close to custom as I have anymore. Trigger, bedding, re-finished stock, and I threaded the muzzle and made a modified LeVang style compensator for it. It wears a fixed 5X. I checked it a few weeks ago, just to make sure the scope was still on. 5 shots of Aguilla SSS at 80' or so equaled 5 reed stems cut in half. Luckily I can shoot off my back deck towards the creek.
Old thread but here is my entry. The 4shot grouping was at 40yds. Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk
Strange as it might sound, we don’t have those here in New England. Only gray squirrels, and occasionally you see an all black one (just a gray squirrel with a genetic mutation)
I use a CZ 457 .22 sighted in for head shots with Aquila Super Colibri within 20 yards for garden marauding grays. It has been a nice accurate rifle, and more quiet and deadly than my Sheridan pump air rifle. Luckily I bought numerous bricks of this ammo years ago. I haven’t seen it for sale anywhere lately. We also see a few small red/pine squirrels, and a few white or black phase grays from time to time.
