Crank bearing fit dilemma

    Thanks for the tips. Yes, mine is an OE non-X Torq model, and from what I could see the donor case I bought is indeed a match. I'll look closer to confirm when it comes in though.

    Sounds good. I like the non-proprietary bearings (6202 Nachis were my preferred replacement) and simple design. I am not a huge fan of the 044 style bushing sleeve (o-ring vs. sealant debate), but everything else comes together nicely and performs well.

    So what are you putting on it for a top end? You said original cylinder was still good but you’re replacing it? Just wondering why and what your using.

    I must've worded things weird. I'm reusing the OEM cylinder and running a Meteor piston with Caber ring.
