Here is a good one, looks like about 1/2 pickup load of punky maple rounds and uglies for only $150. image.jpg

Did a quick check on Craigslist this morning. Came across a stove for sale.

Couple items I couldn't help but notice:
    1) Says used one year....looks like 20 from the condition. Look at the rust on the door.
    2) Was that thing overfired enough to break the glass or what happened?
    3) Oh please tell me that isn't actually where it is used. The clearance to wall looks like 6" if that!

Is it just me or anyone see stuff like that and wonder about it?

Yeah, I don't see even ember protection there.
See some scary stuff every once in a while.

What a deal on the Maple, eh? Might, might, might, consider it if it was c/s/d.
    Nah.

I don't see much more than a year of use there!! Some new glass, a few rolls of duct tape and a can of high temp paint and the thing is brand new!!

That's even worse than the usual "take down my tree for firewood add". People are just absolutely delusional

    Free Firewood Needed (Des Moines)
I've been cold the past three months .
My furnace quit working and don't have money to fix
I have a lot of space in the front yard to unload wood.

Please , no junk scraps, branches, water logged or rotten wood.
The can be large rounds as I can split them, but they must not be the junk knot ends that can't be split.
No Cottonwood it's impossible to split and its waterlogged.

18 inches long or so and splittable down to 4 '' diameter
    Hardwood, fruitwood, Fir,Pine,
Dry wood is preferable, as I have had a chimney fire recently from trying to burn soaked wood.
    Thanks!

Free lathe for firewood etc. A small portion of the lathe has already been removed. I need to move on to some other projects. I've made the remaining lathe as clean as possible by removing almost all horsehair plaster from between the boards. Pictures below. If you are up to tearing it out you can have it for free. Most of it comes out pretty easily with a good pull but bring a crowbar or cats claw if you want. I'm in Lititz PA near the square.
