Here's one for you Poulan fans. Way too many pics to post them all so you'll have to hit the link.

Lot of Poulan saws and parts



I have a bunch old Poulan parts and saws that I no longer need. Mostly fit 1800, 2000, 2300, 3400, XXV, 306A, 245A, 25CVA and 2300CVA.

First 2 pictures are complete saws that do NOT run. The Micro XXV does don't have spark but does have compression. There is a 245A, 1800, 2300CVA and a 25CVA that all have spark and compression. Been sitting for years so will need carb work at least.

Next 2 pictures are 16 different saw bodies. All have cranks, some have pistons, some cylinders. Some have handles and some have fuel and oil tanks.

Picture 5 is a dozen coils and 11 cylinders.

Next 4 pictures are case parts, fuel tanks, clutch covers, flywheel covers, handles and top covers.

The 10th picture is a bunch of carbs, all off poulans. Some complete, some apart. Also shown are 11 flywheels.

The 11th is mufflers, muffler parts, clutches and recoil parts.

Last picture is miscellaneous, bar guides, a crank, gas and oil caps, linkage, bar spike, oilers and oiler part, covers, handles and I have bags of bolts and screws.

No reason to think you could not get several saws running and have plenty of parts left to repair others.

125 to much for a full truck load

 

I thought that too, then I thought of my btother in law who lives in Omaha. He would pay that much, heck he pays to have the dog poop picked up from his yard...one dog....I kid you not.

I wrack it up to him living in Nebraska and being a Huskers fan.

 

I bought a full cord of ash a month ago , paid 170 delivered

 

Good deal. Most of the Craigslist I saw were between $60 to $75 for a 6.5 truck bed full, which is probably a little more than a face cord (@16").

The engine of this Stihl chainsaw (model MS310) no longer works. Purchased in May 2004, the chainsaw has had only one owner who used it for casual firewood cutting. It has a 21-inch bar and comes with at least three used chains.

I took it to two repair shops and having them repair this chain saw would cost $400. They said that bad gasoline likely caused engine blowout. HOWEVER, the saw is structurally sound and in good shape -- except for the engine, which has worked flawlessly until now. If you are mechanically inclined and can repair engines, then this could be a good saw for you.

What a bargain.

 

I wasn't the lucky guy, but last week someone east of Pittsburgh gave away an MS310 that wasn't running. It was in nice shape, too.

 

Closer to the mark than this ad!
