Craftsman 4.2 tuning

    When I bought this saw I noticed the low circuit was running so lean there was a real bad hesitation, it took 3ish turns out for proper response off the bottom end...I'm thinking theres an air leak somewhere...thoughts?

    Welcome to FHC! I think you're likely correct on the air leak. Check the intake boot from carb to cylinder for cracking etc. Also check the fuel lines for the same. Beyond that crank seal would be next & likely not worth doing on that saw.

    Air leak or most likely the diaphragms in the carb are stiff and not pumping enough fuel

    Air leak or maybe a partially clogged passage in the carb. low side circuit ?

    Yep it's the low side, high side is good to go, low side is about around 3 turns out
