Cracked Stove top...

    Many (most) of us burn wood regardless of oil price. I just like the heat, regardless of cost. I like the exercise, I like the saws, I like putting the dead trees to good use ... yup I got it bad.

    Go with the stove deal.

    As to crack repair in cast, I have had good success TIG brazing with silicon bronze filler. I've done a couple deer shack stoves for people.
