    One of my neighbors does exactly that. I don't know him but I see him with stacks all over the yard covered by "tents" of really thin clear stuff. He puts stakes on eather side of the stack into the ground, and about 1' higher than the stack, runs a string or wire across from one steak to the other, and drapes a thin sheet of clear over it and all the way to the ground on the sides. It looks like he tucks it on around the base or something.... Almost like a solar kiln... (from other thread).

    I've thought about that, but it really looks like crap. My yard is all visible / close to the street, so I need something somewhat "purdy". As in, "she's real purdy like"! :D

    The 45 mil sheeting I mentioned, is the rubber roofing everyone talks about. EPDM. Scotty uses it.
