    Yes, it does. Especially when the tarps get a season or two on them and start fraying.

    Exactly what I'm getting. Although I've decided to double layer the 6 mil also. Even with double layering, it's still quite cheaper than getting tarps, and the longevity especially with 2 layers helps defray long-term cost as well.
