Man, that brings back memories! My dad wore out his Jennings 8-tracks bouncing around off-roading in his Bronco!
Speaking of Linda, how about one of her signature songs, a cover of a Warren Zevon song. Here is a live version of Poor, Poor Pitiful Me (the audio is faint, need to crank it up).............................. followed by the old dog himself!
Saw this fool open for Alice Cooper last year. Watched most of the set from way in the back lawn area even though I had 10th row seats. We went to our seats for the last song or 2 to get the whole presence of his schtick. Maybe its me, but I just dont get this idiot...........Just my opinion though
Alice Cooper, now there's a flash from the past...........did he sound any good? Those two would make for quite an interesting concert I'm sure!
Yeah, Alice Cooper still sounds really good and he had a top notch band with him...along with his stage show-snakes, be-heading etc. First time I got to see him and was well worth it as he is quite the showman and entertainer. Jimi cover from last years show Who Cover And of course good old Cooper
Put this up on another thread but I got to put a copy here too! Great Cover, better than the original one by the Boss!
Edit: I just put on my old studio headphones and plugged into the computer to really hear this again. Whew. And, to watch Jones, Plant and Page get blown away by it too is no surprise, even though they've always been rather arrogant lads over the years. Tho John Bonham had died over 30 years ago (original drummer), his son Jason played here and would've made John proud. Wish I'd been there.
