Armbru84, Barcroftb , DexterDay came down for a visit yesterday.
They stopped by around noon and we spent awhile goofing off in the shop and BSing pretty thoroughly, then we headed over to the wings place for lunch and then finally back to the shop to run the 084s and the 372/365 through their paces in a older Pine cant with race chains.
My 084 was running it's normal racing setup 10 pin, SquareFile chain, roller bar, Jon Rupley HT carb, no choke. I loaned Cole my other 084 chain that Shawn made me to use so we could judge the saws a little more closely. They ran great and were a lot of fun. Of course I cut out with my own saw and dug the Dawgz in on Coles saw trying to cut :) LOL
Then we ran out smaller fast saws and I know he had a good race chain to match up against mine.
Finally we ran the Mastermind MS200t and Brad (who is a climber) decided he couldn't live without it :)
Cole found a saw he needed on the shelf and a few other interesting bits n pieces.
It was great to see the guys and of course always fun to put fast saws to the test.

Goodtimes with Dave, Cole, and Brad.

Next time we just don't need to partake in so many adult beverages the night before.

Had a blast! Thanks for having us Dave. I would have brought my 372 if I knew we were racing! :smoke: Though I wouldn't have ran it. :handshake: One of you guys would've after that dang Jalopeno burger! :loco:

No doubt I had a healthy amount of respect for Kenis before watching him pound a b-dub nacho jalapeno burger hung over. Talk about doubling down!:jaw:

At one point Kenis looked down from his jalapeño burger with a face full of pain and picked up a stray pepper from the plate....he ate it like it was no big deal, like that hellfire burger was a personal challenge lol
I look over to my left and Brad is waging his own personal war on a single tortilla chip :)
Tremendous group of guys and a heck of a good time.
I’ll try to keep more on cants on hand for next time.

Still loving the ported 254 I bought from Cole. Favorite saw now. I may have to get more into the ported saws.

Careful Roger, this little "hobby" can get addicting & expensive real fast. There's always a more powerful faster saw out there calling to you. Just gotta have one more, then I'm done. I said that about 15 times before I quit lying to myself & accepted the fact that I have CAD & always will. It's a dangerous road your staring down my friend. :D

I been kicking around the idea of having some work done to my 200t. Although I wished I would've gotten a chance to run definitive dave's at Kris' GTG in October so I could've seen the difference. :(

I was in Bellevue last week for work and thought about taking a trip down to definitive dave's place but it was just a little too far.:(
