Yep. Those on/ off switches are tricky sometimes.;)

Could also be low or no oil in the engine. There's a low oil cutoff switch on better engines. That could be why it won't start on fluid.

yea they doubled in price, I couldn't believe it myself. Had to double take, might be one of the few things I have ever owned that doubled in value instead of depreciating.
as for my opinion, I'm with brenndatomu check the carb. If they used cheap gas and didn't take any precautions it's done for.
Put some gas in a shot glass, and come back in 15 minutes, it will be cloudy just from pulling moisture from the air.

I'd buy it, if it's free/motor, it shouldn't take much to get it running! That's a nice machine!

I messaged the seller 4 times, got no response so far, so I'm doubtful I will get a response.

Ya know, If you shop and check the web every day some of the Big box stores and TSC put them on sale now to get rid of last years models. I saw a 25 ton recently at Lowes for $999.99. Also, keep your eye on Craigslist. I've seen some decent buys on there as well.

$1400 for that County line here , haven't seen any killer deals lately.
I question with colder weather right around the corner and supply issues spiraling out of control if there will be any deals this year like years past.
I have what I need but always keep an eye out anyway.

Yep, I had that trouble a couple of times, I forgot to turn the switch to the on position. After I pulled and pulled, the light bulb finally came on, Daaaaa!
