Welcome to the NEW wood burning season...

Time for a cocktail in front of the fire. Oh, I see, you've already started.

    Enjoy

I couldn't resist the urge any longer. 67 and damp inside 60 and drizzle outside
resplit some Virginia pine couple cherry chunks for later. Dogs finally stopped huddling around me

Just a lot cooler than usual here, plus it's been overcast & raining for what feels like a week.
just tossed another pine split on 70 in the hallway - at least I remembered to shut the AC off:whistle:

Icy highways - sounds like why I moved south;)

OK for me, in fact glad it was me and not wife or one of kids without experience! I like snow but freezing clouds at 2500 feet takes a little been there done that... Got some angels in my corner and that's always a good thing,

It was foggy and a balmy 39 yesterday so I lit the Fireview and spent the day watching football in front of the fire.

Right where I want to be.
    Yep, you are not alone.
Had our first on Aug. 25th, Dave. Took several more days to have another. Still not burning like last year.
I hope it's a taste of things to come...........
