Regarding Matt........."He was shot three times in the head, according to an autopsy"
    Really?
I guess the holes in his head weren't enough to confirm that. Jeesh

Good job by that trooper. There will be some major changes at that prison and others. This was a huge embarrassment for that Prison. That women will hopefully do some serious time and be made an example of. And that gaurd will pay a high price for foolish decisions. Now. Who else was involved?

its good that no one has been hurt ( other than those two who have been ) justice would be if that woman who helped them could be held responsible for the search costs , of course she couldnt earn enough in her lifetime , after she gets out that is .

After I heard they shot and detained Sweat I pondered how much they may have spent to track and kill/detain two murderers to prevent them from crossing borders with Canada or Mexico
Meantime all kinds of unsavory individuals run across our southern border on a daily basis?

WW don't mean to take this thread off the rails - just something that went through my mind, thought it had a good bit of irony.
Couple years ago an illegal resident went on a shooting spree couple towns over, he killed a brother, wife and had a shoot out with cops, seriously injuring one officer that is still recovering, jacked another car before being shot and killed ~1/4mi from my work.
Turned out he'd been arrested and deported at least twice, was a strong arm for some cartel.

It didn't make the national news because it was ~1week after the sicko in Newtown, and he was a (multiple time deported) illegal with an AK-47
