Thanks guys. I'll crank it up tomorrow. I'll be home alone all morning so I'll open the windows in that room and let it rip.

I made that mistake when I bought my first stove, which happened to be the same as yours. The house had a fog in it and I was like WTF!!! :hair: The vent was cooking stuff off of it too, it was awful.

Good luck with your stove. I hope it keeps you as warm as mine keeps us. I have a band new LP high efficient furnace, but use very little of it. We really like the pellet stove heat. I'll use that as long as it remains practical.

Pellets have been delivered and stacked. Was able to get an entire ton in my garage. The other ton is under the deck. As I'm stacking I noticed my energy company driving by doing a meter check. Kiss my grits central hudson, you gets none of my heating money.

FWIW, the Greene Teams are way overpriced. Most people here avoid them.

Lowe's has cut the price on them . now they are 50 cents a bag more than anything else they sell $ 5.69 /bag still over priced imo , but not as ridiculous as the $ 7 they wanted last year .

I think katwill said he managed a 25% discount through his employer IIRC. That puts them at bargain prices.
