Considering taking out possibly two trees

    Can the trees wait until you have room? Usually tree services will discount the price if they don't have to haul away the wood.

    At least one tree will come down but probably after next spring when I reload the wood shed from the stacks. That will make room for the tree I take down.

    I'm kinda surprised your insurance company isn't insisting on removal. When I was out in Seattle/Redmond/Bellevue 10 years ago plenty of people were complaining about just that. Builders/developers would leave the trees because it increased home salability and then the insurance company would insist they had to go because the frequent wind storms would blow them down. I was also kinda shocked at how much a nice view increased the value of a home. And there are plenty of view. Not so much that it increased value, just by how much.
