    I like working in 20° temps too.

    That's a great temp as any snow doesn't melt keeping your hands and knees dry.

    We have a "load" of maples around here, I guess they like the soils. About 70% of my winter stash is maple, I get lots of wild cherry and gum also. Anymore, around here oak is getting scarce and hoarded by the tree guys, their making there money on it!

    The maples have such shallow roots that when we get a good nor-easter, I always get a call from friends for a tree or two.:):cool:
