here are some pics of my Richmond 62cc monster, split cases. top mount cylinder, outboard clutch uses stihl sprockets. I have muffler modded and have a 8 tooth sprocket on the way. Plan on porting and polishing the cylinder.
Only problem now is no one else has a saw larger than 50cc?? I guess I will have to go and see my supplier and get another Richmond saw in 52cc and start over. He can also get them in 103cc WOW I am waiting for a price on that.

I will do a 62cc machine if I can find one under the $100 price ceiling.

Hell, I just bought three Earthquakes for what one 62cc is selling for.

Guys at AS say it has a small poulan bar mount on them.

They have a 257 page thread that is started last yr and still going about these little gems!! Some guys are buying them 4 at the time for gifts. They say modding is a must to make it perform. Seems quality is pretty good for the Chinese saws even saying there the better Chinese saws to buy! There was a fear that they were out of them last week but clearly that is not the case.

    Gifts?

I may order a 38, if I do indeed get a 12% coupon with my order, why?? Cause i dont own a tiny saw with a 14" bar and the fact that I can't resist a $40 saw!

I'm now into these things, been reading on/off at AS. Several of these guys have quakes blowing over 200psi stock!!

What type mod are y'all doing to the muffler? I'm thinking just the 3/4" hole right through the muffler Catt and the front cover.

Why do you think I want to buy 8 of them? These are Redmax copy cats and run like an animal. You can't order more than one 45cc model (or at least today?) Says sold out when I do 2 or more? Maybe the guy on AnotherSite was right. Maybe they are sold out?

Reading through that thread, plus the handful that members bought 4518s here, I wouldn't be surprised if they limited the qty available to each order. They have to be selling a couple dozen a week. o_O That's pretty insane for a clearance/defective/open box type item.

If a guy was to buy a second one and had a 4518 what would your second saw be another 4518 or a 3816 or whatever the 38cc is? We need to start out own quake thread here!
