I'd love to make it up there. But there is no way iI can leave the wife n baby or take them with me at this point, he still will be young. I'd love to make it to a gtg one day though! Although we don't really take vacations maybe at some point we would and could swing through some of talks area one year at a gtg.

Cool bid but why is he cutting so slow? And in the second part on the assembly line are those saws being ran by those guys at each pass? What's with the surgical masks? To keep the exhaust out?? Seems like they would do no good. Talk about air quality!!! Ieeeee.

25:1 is pretty fat? Did you mean 125:1?

I'm gonna run something close to that :)

actually they recommend 25:1 so I am running 50:1. I did read where at 25:1 the oil helps seal the rings for better compression. They do run really well for what they cost.

I have yet to see any metal shavings, blue bottles, serious talk of running 1261 (nitro), pipe style mufflers...

Tune the carb and sharpen the chain...that's it?!?!?!?!

I fully realize I don't have a horse in this race, but c'mon

I have ~3/4 of a gallon jug of backyard basher nitro fuel for an R/C truck.
Wonder what it would run like?

Love the description on those Earthquakes:
"AS IS " THEY ARE THE SAME ONES WE SELL WITH WARRANTY BUT WE ARE SELLING THEM WITH NO WARRANTY DUE TO SOME BUYERS HAVING PROBLEMS STARTING AND OR OPERATING THEM.

I was gonna Mastermind mine. But I spoke on the phone with Randy again. He has helped me tremendously. I have a good idea of what to do and he is always there to help.
I ain't gonna kiss and tell, but mine will have more than lean gas (100:1-125:1) and a sharp chain.

I actually am thinking of kicking my Blue Max (45cc), down the road? I want something in the 55cc range (or bigger).

My BIL has a viper sitting on the shelf. I could probably toss him a sixer and have a saw. Runs goodish...but the oiler is toasted....

Who needs an oiler, are you planning on it lasting that long?

You can buy those parts cheap on eBay from what I have seen

With a chain moving as fast as mine would on the 'quake the oil would reach its flash point in less than a second.. Probably best the oiler is busted....otherwise I could get seriously burned.
