I might move the unit and see. It was just easy to hang it in there because it has to communicate with the station outside. It is a wireless weather station I got from Bass Pro shop for Father's Day.

This is the room layout. The dryer has been installed under and slightly to the left of the A/C unit.

The weather here has been really good and much better for working. Plus, we don't have to run the air conditioner. Into the low 50's the last few night. Very cool mornings but as soon as that sun gets some height, ole sol is hot for sure. In the shade it is still nice. Had some trouble with the watering units this morning but all is well now and the berries are getting water again.

Our son is camping and will be coming back here next week. He sent me an audio file so I could hear the whip-poor-wills. I love to hear those birds and we used to have them here but I guess their food went south on them and we have not heard one here in years. I miss them.

Was coming across the sand this morning and jumped a fawn that was bedded under a large white pine. He did not go far thought then stopped and looked at me. Yesterday I was in the woods and a pair of fawns and I held a conversation for about 10 minutes. Then the doe got up and stared at me for a bit, then just slowly turned and walked off. Not scared at all. I love that.

Puzzling why humidity is so high inside at the time.....even our extreme temp days...our humidity in side is never above 46%...temp set at 71*...that's with central air

I think your just getting humidity leaking from the dryer. Does it get warmer in the room of your drying chlothes, I bet there is air and humidity leaking in the room...or one other thing I thought of is those window airs often are more open the the outside and the hot air and humidity from the inside is creeping in to the inside?

I moved the unit to a different spot in the house and the
humidity has dropped to about 50-55%.

I would put money on that AC unit and or the combination of the Dryer. I know those window units usually have a fresh air option where it will pull outside air in as well which is dumping that moist humid air into the house as well.

I was pretty confident it was a small micro climate in that room. Would be really had to have a house here in the south running enough AC to get the indoors 71f and still have humidity as high as you HD without some major issue. But I am confident it was just where it was and what it was around.

Shouldn't have any problem with that right now.

It's been raining off and on since Friday night. 6" so far and they're calling for another 4"-5" the next couple days. I believe I should have started building an ark instead of cutting up all those logs for firewood.

Finally got a good rain. Haven't checked the rain gauge yet to see how much but we won't be watering the garden today.

Last night was at a board meeting. Really warm and humid when I went in. 64 when I came out. Nice to get a rain like that.

I saw the daytime temperatures up there yesterday and almost jumped in the car to head north! Highs in the 50's feel super great to me!

Much cooler here this morning. We got another .35" of rain overnight and the crops are loving it. Lots and lots of trees are also showing signs of stress.
