I actually have the patio door open right now so I can have the smell of fresh, cool mountain air along with the sounds of the birds chirping away and big rain drops. Temp has dropped another 2c since my last post. Its been damp outside lately. The lawn sure is green and our forest fire danger is nil right now

Sean, I'd love to see a couple weeks like that!!!!! In the fall I really love it when the highs are in the 50's. That is close to perfect weather. But, the 60's aren't bad either. Actually I really like it between 20 and 75. Ideal!

I think we've already ran the air conditioner as much this year as all of last year. Crazy...

We could have shut the air off a couple nights ago and enjoyed the fresh air and outdoor noises. However, our unthinking neighbors seem to always be burning something and it can stick to high Heaven. So, we have to run the air conditioner to keep it cool and the stink out. I hate that.

After 6 days of mid 90's and tropical humidity, a front came through this afternoon and swept it away. 76° right now and going down to 60° Low humidity and 80° for tomorrow and Sunday. Perfect. :)

Same weather here CBVT, just spent the last few hours cleaning garage and grounds in preparation for our late Independence Day party tomorrow. It was nice to work without drowning in sweat, this weather is fantastic!
