Just another wonderful day in GA. Check out that nice heat index...just need a big fan and you would have a kiln to dry that wood fast.

Well, even hot air moving is better than no air moving!

I've been known to gather a steel bucket of coals from the owb to heat my immediate workspace in the garage when it's real cold out.. Works like a champ.

But if I am wrenching on my vehicle the last thing I want is arms that are 6"s in diameter so I can't fit in tight spaces or to wear gloves. I hate gloves and can't do a thing with them on. Only latex or nitrile gloves allow me the dexterity like when I work on stuff. And I am not lucky enough to have a shop. Just carports or covered open sided sheds.

Our lake water surface temp is probably hotter than your air! ! Haha it's 91f surface temp on the lake. And this is a lake that's 60 to 75 foot in much of the main channel and is 80,000 acres!! I'll try to remember to take a pic of my depthfinder this weekend.

I havent checked in on this thread in awhile.... We were 9c/48f and drizzle this afternoon at 1 pm. My furnace has been on and off again tonight but I cant be bothered to get a fire going. After burning for 7-8 months Im good with the stove being cold for awhile. The nice thing about our area of the Rockies getting a coolish June is we are able to push the forest fire can down the road a bit. Looking forward to some summer weather though.

Wow. I can't even comprehend that.

I had to look it up but for reference water temps are currently 64 degrees and lake is 435 square miles. Supposed to get to 90 today:dennis: there will be fog!!
The town 25 miles south of me has only hit 100 degrees 4 times since late 1800s.

Heat warnings all over tv.. Current temp is 74.. It may get to 90 but only from maybe 5 to 630 pm

Sunny and 94 as of 1PM. Heat warning until 7 this evening with the possibility of the heat index getting close to 115. I did my errands this morning, staying inside this afternoon.
