The freezing rain has yet to start here. It's about 35°, and I'm burning hawthorn sticks, oak pallet boards, and leftover sawdust bricks. Yeah, it's scrounge
    season.

Crawled between the sheets early last night......it was just starting to snow at 9:30, but coming down pretty good.

Thought that there would be a pile of snow this morning...........2"! Still have to shovel/push it, but 2" is nothing!

It is still snowing now. Today and into tomorrow is when we're supposed to get the 8"10 inches of it. Ha!

Welcome Slocum. I don't beleive I have said it before, and I see you just joined 2 weeks ago, as I didn't recognize your name I figured I would welcome you. I'm sure a few others have at this point as well.

Welcome Slocum. Glad to have you aboard.

38° this morning going up to 57. Was 72° yesterday and 79° the day before. It’s getting hard to figure out how to dress every day. Haven’t had a fire in over a week. Relying on the expensive oil.

Looks like Spring is truly here and Ol’ Man Winter has done his business. I had been burning a few days here and there, as to stave off moisture. It’s pretty wet here but looks like a good chance for drying up. Subject to change of course but not likely sudden drops this late in the game. Time to get the mower out, start putting together lawn furniture and flower beds. F51058A9-2472-4D17-A390-77F1B91BF324.png

31F Freezing rain/sleet here. Stiff East wind took out a lot of trees around here yesterday. Had one nice day Thursday & a week of crap to follow it. Not much trying to bloom/grow here yet. I'd take 20 & Sun over this wet windy cold rainy stuff. Went out for more wood & got soaked in less then 10 minutes. Stoves been burning since October.:jaw: Supposed to stay cold & crappy till Friday. Happy Spring I guess.

The cold weather might really be gone. Sitting at -1 C or 30 F for the moment, and heading upwards of +3 C or 37 F with some rain. Still about 8 degrees C colder in the daytime than normal, but sure better than what we've been stewing in since November. Sad little ugly stick fire happening.

I had to go look that up as I didn't recall Edmonton being stuck in a forever deep freeze. That's just their night time temps.
