I just pushed the first 9" off & the banks back. We're now in the 18"-24"+ range and it looks like they may be right on this one.
Willow in the owb. Pine, cherry, and walnut over night. Looks like the storm stayed east of us this time, only a few inches on the ground here and less in town. One forecast has us back into lows of single digits at the end of the week, the other one has lied in the twenties.. So no idea what to expect. Guess we'll find out when we get there.
About 24 out now. Maple and Pine in the boiler. I cleaned the sidewalk early afternoon and it had a couple inches on it. But snow has been falling slow but sure. Looks like we have about four to five inches or so since last night. Winter can’t get done soon enough.
Should bottom out around 10 tonight...or so they say. Clear skies now means colder later. Stopped snowing with only about 4" and it was the light stuff. Good.
Still snowing, we got close to 27" of powdery snow. No big deal in NH. Got some cleanup to do in the AM.
Wound up with about six inches total. 32° Outside with red oak in the stove. Upstairs bedroom in the mid 70s.
And the winner is.....!!!!! Now remember tomorrow...theres a car parked somewhere in that driveway full of snow!
We've never lost a driveway yet! They say another nor'easter coming next week. I am not going to find my rounds to split till June.
Just don't find one with the other. That's insane. What's crazier, is that we have no snow here in southern Wisconsin. 21° outside, sugar maple in the quadrafire. Furnace is quiet. Dogs and wife are happy by the stove.
And waterfowl to beat heck, no? Nothing up here yet as it is all snow and ice. but in the fox valley.....its full of geese (and eagles)
Chilly here, a few snowflakes zipping around... Greenways in the pellet sto....wait, maybe wrong thread? Hey, at least with the pellet stove I can the fire.
Eric VW It's kinda like cigars......"smoke what you like and like what you smoke". (which I will still send you some any time!)
