Nice tractor in your Avatar. Won't be long you will have to teach her how to operate it.

Wow. 63° this morning. We got some rain last night. With a mix of sun and rain the grass is really taking off now.

It sure is. From now until the end of June, at least, I'll mow every 4 days. And, it'll be too long then! :hair: I sure do like how it looks when it's done tho.

You get your piles of branches/brush burned yet?

No on the branches/brush. It rained last night. By the time it started I was horizontal in my chair and exhausted at about 09:30. And I wasn't getting back out of the chair. (I should have, but I didn't.) I also did not get enough time to even try out my new splitter yet. It won't be until next weekend when I have any time. There will be a ton of work around the house that weekend. A little more raking to be done, grass will need mowing, weed eating, and chopping wood. That will fill the entire weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good.

50 Deg. this morning. Not burning, well the Peerless is providing hot water with a little oil. The warm weather is finally here! It was real nice yesterday. Almost 80! Suppose to have more clouds today with 50% chance of rain.

Looks like 45 this morning. The Peerless kicks on every once and a while and burns some oil. I'm disappointed in myself, I haven't felt like cleaning the boiler out and starting to burn again. Of course, 12 hour days everyday might have something to do with it. Anyone have any cheese to go along with my wine? :emb:

I understand that thought for sure Gas. When I had to burn 24/7 at the farm, I was REALLY happy when May came, cause I could stop the routine for 6 months. I fed my pyro urge with fires in the pit.

Pouring rain on and off this morning here. 50.

Last fire, April 4, 2014. Just some pine to take the chill off. Had cloudy skies, spring rain showers. First heat wave came this week, temps high 90's- 100. AC has been on, set to 78 last two weeks.

[IMG] No. Haven't run it once. I've have been swamped. Working for my brother on my days off to help him finish a job up. That is done now. I just got to mow the lawn for the first time on Sunday afternoon. I was suppose to be off on Saturday and Sunday, and hoped to split some wood. Worked overtime both days at the normal job. Didn't really want to. But the money helps. Tough to turn it down. I managed to get the garden tilled by borrowing my brother's rear tine Honda. (Nice machine.) Wife got the entire garden planted while I cut the grass. Felt good to finally get the grass cut. It looks really nice, very green from all the rain we have had. I'll see if I can post a picture. The last one is the freshly planted garden on the other side of the fence. Sorry it is a little far away.

56° this morning. I have not had a fire in a long while. I can't even remember when it was now, probably 3 or 4 weeks. I need to get my boiler cleaned and start burning for DHW again. Any of you guys still burning?

No burning here, just busy getting all the areas full of wood, we'll have seven areas for hardwood and the eight area (holds two years worth of shoulder season wood) I want the hardwood areas done by the end of June if possible.

I could have fired up the stove last night. Wasn't all that warm yesterday, low 60s so the house didn't warm up much.
Woke up early this morning and it was 62*!in the house, 48* outside.
